The most important consideration for a good night's sleep is "How you feel when you wake up in the morning."  Some people can sleep anywhere and on anything.  This is usually "not" our customers.  They are seeking a better night's sleep.  They need the right amount of support for their different sleeping postures.

This is why we have 3 different models (three difference thicknesses); with each in 4 different firmnesses: Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm.  Our mission is to match the right mattress and firmness with your body's physiology.

We also have a 10 day/$89.00 exchange policy in case we have to change the model and/or the firmness.  With our zipper construction, special requests are also quite easy.  This is because each of our models are layered; and with the zippered cover, it is very easy to change any of the layers.

What Does It All Mean . . . Native to the Amazon Rainforest?

    Today, whether you buy a Simmons, Sealy, Serta, Spring Air, Tempurpedic, Sleep Number, . . .they have 0% natural products inside.  Most people don't care.    But, we "breathe" on our mattresses over 8 hours a day,. . . that's about 120 whole days each year.  Better to have healthy ingredients.  The latex rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis), is native to the Amazon rainforest in South America. Over time, it spread to other tropical regions due to its valuable sap, which is harvested from the tree by tapping its bark. The sap, known as latex, is collected and then processed into latex foam.

In history, Wikipedia says that the King of England may have been the first person to sleep on a Latex Mattress (since most of the areas where the rubber trees were grown were English colonies.)

What is the difference between Natural Talalay and Certified Organic Latex Mattresses . . .

    The key difference between Natural Talalay and Certified Organic Latex mattresses lies in the production process. Natural Talalay latex mattresses are made from natural latex, which is sourced from rubber trees, and undergoes a specific 8-step process called the Talalay process, which involves molding and freezing the latex to create a more consistent, airy structure. This results in a softer and more responsive feel. Each natural Talalay core comes with its own label that is rated in 9 separate areas for firmness.  GOLS: Certified Organic Latex mattresses use latex that is sourced from rubber trees grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or chemicals, and the entire manufacturing process is certified to meet organic standards. While both types are made from natural latex, Certified Organic Latex mattresses have the added assurance of being produced without any fertilizers or chemicals; and with the GOLS Global Organic Latex Standards label that certifies a minimum of 95% organic latex inside.  Each Certified Organic Latex Mattress we sell is labeled with the GOLS label on the core.

• What are the benefits of a Zipper Cover and Layering a Mattress

     By using layers of latex foam in our mattresses, we can offer four different mattress firmnesses:  Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm.  Our GOLS Certified Organic Latex also comes in Super Firm ("hard as a rock").  Our 7 Inch Latex mattress have two 3" layers of latex inside, with 1/2" of quilting on both sides, total 7" thick.  With the zipper cover it is also very easy to change the firmness, if you wish so at a later date.  Some people even request each side to be a different firmness.  Our most popular mattress, THE 10 INCH has 3 separate layers of latex foam inside; also available in four different firmnesses.  THE ULTIMATE Mattress has two 3" layers of Latex in the middle, and surrounded on both sides with a little Softer Latex; also available in four different firmnesses (we can also make the top and bottom layers as firm as the middle, if you wish).  With our zipper cover it is easy to change the firmness for any reason.

Some people like a dreamy soft mattress . . .

     Although most people like a mattress on the firm side, many people like a dreamy soft mattress.  When you visit The Latex Mattress Store we will show you many choices of a soft mattress that hopefully is the one you have been looking for.  Some people want it real soft, but most want it Soft or Medium Soft.  We find that some people as they get a little older, they appreciate a mattress a little softer.  Again, we have thet 10-day $89 mattress exchange policy to get the mattress firmness exactly how you need and want it.

A few people prefer coils inside.  We can easily make the latex layers on top and bottom as soft or as firm as you wish.  We put the highest quality Leggett & Platt pocketed coil system inside.  Although this is not our best seller, we want you to know the comfort and support is very excellent.
