THE 7 INCH is built from exactly three materials: cotton, wool, and latex. Nine mattresses out of ten sold today are built from the opposite list — man-made foams, synthetic fibers, and polyester quilting. We've never seen the need to choose that path. A mattress you spend a third of your life on should be made of things you'd recognize.
No polyfoam. No synthetic fiber fill. No polyester batting. Just three natural materials, layered and quilted by hand.
Grown, not manufactured. Breathable and soft against the skin, it forms the outer layer of quilting on both sides of the mattress.
A natural regulator of temperature and moisture, quilted in alongside the cotton to keep the mattress comfortable through every season.
The sap of the rubber tree, processed into a resilient, breathable foam that contours to the body without the sag of synthetics.
Most manufacturers reach for man-made foam, synthetic fiber, and polyester because it's cheaper to produce. We reach for cotton, wool, and latex because it's better to sleep on.
THE 7 INCH uses two full three-inch layers of latex — Natural Talalay or GOLS Certified Organic — quilted with a half inch of cotton and wool on both the top and bottom. The result is a mattress with a soft comfort layer, a supportive base, and nothing synthetic anywhere in between.
The cover zips open, so the layers inside can be rearranged or exchanged at any time, and the entire mattress is completely reversible — built to be used on both sides for years.
Natural Talalay latex is molded and frozen through an eight-step process that gives it an airy, consistent structure and a soft, responsive feel. GOLS Certified Organic Latex is sourced from rubber trees grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, with a minimum of 95% organic content verified on every core.
THE 7 INCH is available in either, and in four firmnesses — Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm, and Ultra Firm — with the Certified Organic core also offered from Super Soft to Super Firm.

Each Natural Talalay latex core we sell is date stamped, serialized, and rated for firmness across nine separate areas before it ever reaches a showroom floor — so what you press on in person is exactly what's built into your mattress at home. Every mattress is backed by a twenty-year warranty and, like the rest of our work, hand quilted one at a time.
